Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Louisville is in Kentucky, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Louisville peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. So far this is my second bad experience, first time they stripped 7/10 lug nuts they paid to replace them. Went back this time paid $80 for them to mount and balance my own tires, owner didnβt balance them. Took it back the next day I was told βI donβt care if you already paid for it to be done $35 or we arenβt doing itβ. Absolutely the worst tire shop in the area STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT SOMETHING TO GO WRONG.

Called and got quoted $30 a piece for two tires. Got up there, rolled the two old tires with the rims up to them. Once they were done and I pulled out the $60 plus was going to tip because I will give it to them, they were very quick. It took no time at all. The guy then said no its $80. Once I told them what I was told on the phone and pointing out that the tread on one of the tires wouldnt even pass inspection, I got told they were actually $100 so I was getting a deal. I asked if they had a tire gauge to check the 30 seconds, he said they dont have one. So its a tire shop without tire tools? Makes so much sense. My aunt then called back and who ever answered the phone told her they was calling the shop because the $60 price point was correct. Sat there for about 10 minutes with nothing. A shop that had 4 people out front became a ghost town and they all were no where to be found. Guess for now on ill have to triple check prices even after being told that price multiple times before the tire even touched the rim.

I didnβt get tires from this place. I bought a charger from a kid whose dad who works there 2010 charger and they knew the car was wrecked. It didnβt tell me I messaged a boy and he said he put new tires on it because his dad gave him the money or something but funny your dad works at the tire shop and you have to go somewhere to put tires on there. When I went somewhere. The tires were old. The car couldnβt be aligned because it had been wrecked Which he told me he had a line which was impossible to do then they had a plate on the car that wasnβt even to the car I went to go license the car and they owed back taxes on it, and I reached out to them and of course, no answer. I will never buy anything from them again I guess I test drove the car and it drove like an alignment so I thought no big deal when I asked the boy about it. Thatβs when he proceeded to tell me he had an a line. He didnβt know it was wrecked, and he found out it was wrecked. Thank God now the car is like brand new. The car was supposedly in the motherβs name, but hasnβt been licensed since last year and they had some bogus plate to another car on there and of course she owed the back taxes so Iβll never deal wit
